All of the arduino codes I have seen do not decode the commands correctly. The bits are sampled the way they arrive, (LSB first) so what you are seeing is worthless unless the program can be changed to manipulate the bits and present the correct command and device id. in other words, you are seeing each byte as 01234567 when it should be 7654321.

This code does not decode the data correctly. For the NEC protocol, the bits are received LSB first, therefore this code does not display the data correctly. This is useless to anyone who wants to properly decode the NEC Infrared commands.
