Honestly gemstones were a mess from the beginning. No single thing should add so much money to the economy. Gemstones value should mainly be based on their use, by selling them to other players, and not have a high npc sell value.
If that is not enough to make mining worthwhile, the gemstones should get more uses.

It just sucks that so much money is getting into the economy, basically forcing you to mine.

I hope that after all those failures with gemstones, make the admins reconsider the whole system.

I remember one time someone bought so much enchanted flint at once that, when I went to sell a stack that I had instead of getting the standard 200k, I got 1.8 mil. Not really equivalent to what these guys did but still thought I'd share

Yo I remember that dupe, everyone profited off it in the end, the dupers duped all of the stuff and dropped the price while the rest of skyblock bought the perfects and sold them later lol

It’s always funny seeing legit price changes. The weirdest one I remember was when in 2020 there was a bug for like 3h where unstable armor dmged players. Unstable frags passed every other frag in price (except sup) because people wanted to troll nons in new game areas.

Yo Hellcastle, it’s even more ridiculous that the games menu helped with a lobby crash because before that you could just take items out of the /games or “replay” menu and those are pretty rare items so that when they patched that they still left the possibility for a lobby crash intact is pretty stuoid
