I'll never forget this but it was the year 2000 at Wentworth and Lee was playing Colin Montgomerie in the final. It was the first playoff hole on the 16th and Lee had just putted to square the hole. Just after he putted in a raised voice I said "come on Lee" and gave a fist pump. He looked up and gave me a nod and a smile. He actually acknowledged my absolute desire for him to win. The very next hole he sank a 20 foot put the win the 2000 World Matchplay. It was thanks to me he won 😁👍

This was amazing!
If there was a YouTube Golf awards, this would be nominated for Best Match Video of the year.
Lee was very generous to do this and he was great. At times it's as though he's thinking "What the heck are you talking about Pete?" and at the same time he looked genuinely entertained by Pete's antics. Seeing him look at the camera after taking jabs at Pete was elite.
Pete as always brought the comedy and some nice shots too. 10/10 great video, editing, and banter 👏👏👏
