While it has sported many badges since it first arrived here for 2001... Freightliner, Mercedes-Benz, and even Dodge; the Sprinter has changed the commercial van market here in the U.S. forever, by opening the door to European-style high-roof workhorses to replace the traditional truck-based vans. So let’s get to work and find out what’s next for the sprinter.

I do love full-sized van reviews. Thanks for this one! A comparison between this, the RAM Promaster, and Transit would make for an interesting future video as well.

Like the G wagon, only the interior and possibly the head lamps will tell if it is year model 1994 or 2020..

Doug Demuro needs to test this van cause he were complaining a lot about Mercedes Metris, but this Sprinter looks way better

UPS had a bunch of these and they broke down so much back in the last 10 years that they trashed all of them!! Complete junk. Now they went back to Ram vans for the small air deliveries. I was shocked to see less than 10 year old vehicles all trashed out and sent to pasture when the big box trucks are 15 to 20 plus years old still rolling along.

I was really hoping for a 0-60 and 1/4 mile test on this one. 😂

Between this and a 5 passenger SUV in similar price... may go with this. Tows well, huge cargo capacity, plenty of space for distance use, resale should be good.

@0:49, 2.0 Litre I-4 turbo diesel available for the 2500 Sprinter? That’s news to me.

No slalom, 0-60, or braking tests? I just watched an '86 Suburban hustle through the cones on a retro review. No excuses!

GM has the last traditional American V8 cargo van. Last I heard they were selling to a waiting list and I can't remember the last time I saw a new one on the lot of the Chevy dealer I drive past every day on my commute (I'm "essential" so have been commuting uninterrupted).

what the hell was that constant drumming noise in the background while he was talking? Was the sprinter making that noise?

... any idea how many miles you can get out of these small motors before replacement or possibly overhaul ...

3:20 the 'comfort package' should be standard for a vehicle like this.

I could definitely do without that "DHL Yellow" paint job, but the upgraded technology and more carlike interior makes it feel more like a Benz and less like a truck.

Why are we late to the party? Yes, Ford has the Transit but I don’t think it’s this tall. Florists and caterers don’t need a V-8 van to run around town.

These looked amazing when they were first introduced, a lot of my suppliers were using them and bragging about the bluetec fuel economy, now most of these have all rusted out, and sent to the junkyard when the DPF system
