Its crazy how the camera works to obscure the city slowly being constructed around the airport and then at the end it pulls away to reveal a completely urbanised floodplain. Very clever

It looks like there was a period stretching from the seventies to the early oughts where they had a terminal to which aircraft could not taxi without rolling through the marsh prairie.

I believe this animation focusses solely on the passenger side of Schiphol? The cargo aprons (Romeo Sierra) seem to be missing entirely as well as most of the "Cityhopper" platform (Bravo) and several other platforms used for de-icing or remote parking (Papa, Victor).

I have once visited Shiphol airport and my journey went very well.
Even though I have been there, I didnt know that there where canal so close to airport.
