Here's a tip. If you want a more jiggly Jell-O consistency try looking for Agar agar powder that also has the word JELLY on the packaging. Normal agar powder sets harder, but the Jelly Agar variant sets softer.

that's actually a very common snack here in Malaysia, they're called agar-agar or dadih. They come in packets with flavour already added like jello
