Build a Golf Bag Holder! Organize Your Golf Gear

In this build tutorial I am building a DIY golf organizer. This is a woodworking build that you can do yourself that is not only a golf bag stand, but a place to store all of your golf gear.

This came out pretty slick April. If I may leave a suggestion about edge banding the inner circle of plywood, if you have a blow torch pull the trigger and run it for about 30 seconds. At that point use the heated barrel ( no flame) against the inside edge with the edge banding on the plywood and it will seal just fine

I love these things, and yours is definitely one of the nicest ones I've seen. My problem is that I'd need about 10 of these! Half of my garage is bags, clubs, shoes, buckets of balls, towels, etc.

When you are TRULY bitten by the bug your gold equipment will always be with you so when you are driving around in your vehicle and happen upon a course or a driving range, you will be able to play an emergency 9, beat a bucket of balls, or just hit some putts on the practice green. You will be unable to do any of these things if you use your finely built bag rack. The most important feature of any car I purchase is if my golf bag can fit comfortably in the back. Hope to see you out on the course someday!

Another great project and how to tips, Ms Wilkerson ! So nice, the idea...the ability...to reality.
Played golf occasionally, spending time with my father when he was alive . I’m glad you are in to it. Found golf frustrating ... that three hours in the shop was more relaxing and productive for me...measure twice cut once... still there is an occasional “ slice” that goes awry. 🙂⛳️🏌️‍♀️🪚🔨🏌️‍♀️⛳️

My golf bag goes in the back of my Subie in April and comes out in late November. I have a nice shelf for the bag and space under it for shoes, balls and my push cart lives next to it. I like to hear my clubs jiggling against one another as I drive around. It's like they're talking to me. . . . "when are we going to play again?"

Golf is a terrific sport mirroring life. For women golfer, the question becomes what gets in the way of "Left, Right, Look Pretty" (my first teacher Charlie Boetcher age 5 - 7). There is a LPGA (ret) teacher, Lynn Adams, who was a break through teacher as she was coached by Harvey Pennick. Lynn lives in the environs of Austin like you, Enjoy the game as Samuel Clemens recommends, "do not ruin a walk in the Park."
