This entire series is actually canon. As for why Bruce is there, one day Thor for some weird reason hallucinated Bruce Banner being there. Then, one day, Thor just left. There were no hard feelings (He didn't pay rent, but he and Darryl were still friends.), but Darryl then had to look for a new roommate. Then, one day, the Grandmaster was banished to Earth and he and Darryl eventually crossed paths.
