I’m from Cali and midwesterner’s are some of my most favorite people. I had a friend from DC once tell me it was weird that I was so nice. I told her that I find it weird that it’s normal to be unkind. When I ended up working in the Midwest for a few years, I felt like I found a bunch of me’s running around. It honestly felt like that old school Mastercard commercial of that cute kid going back to school and getting to hang out with his friends that get him. Priceless. I’m still friends with the ppl I worked with years later.
