Feed The Future Livelihoods Project in Nigeria

With support from USAID, and cost share from Catholic Relief Services in partnership with the Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria, Mercy Corps, the Federation for Muslim Women Associations of Nigeria and Making Cents International, Feed The Future implemented the Nigeria Livelihoods Project. This 5-year project is based in rural communities in Northern Nigeria’s Sokoto and Kebbi states, and the Federal Capital Territory and is using a multi-sector approach that will help 42,000 very poor households grow their agriculture production, incomes and improve nutrition.

The project is delivering foundational skills-development training through a curriculum package geared to household levels that incorporates the integrated themes of income generation, financial education, and nutrition.
