I have the FOSI BT-20A Pro (which is very good) but have a new V3 on the way to use in a different room fed by a streamer/DAC. Looking forward to it! For anyone who has not looked at Class-D amplifiers in a few years, these new devices are fantastic for the money. They are not "thin" sounding at all.

I want to keep my signal chain minimal, but I also want the functionality of a DDC to clean the jitter between my PC and my DAC, and I also want a highly functional EQ and crossover. I purchased a Behringer FBQ6200HD for this, I encourage you to look at it, its features are quite robust, and I'm not aware of anything that can do what it does from Fosi or its immediate competitors. It'd be amazing if you could integrate these 3 functions into a DAC. If it could do the processing of a DDC internally, then transmit it to its main circuit via I2S, then it would essentially have an external DDC built into it, I think. These 3 functions make a huge noticeable difference in overall sound quality and presentation.

My current signal chain:

PC > DDC > DAC > EQ/crossover > amp > speakers

What it could be:

PC > Fosi Ultra DAC > amp > speakers

This little V3 is still blowing me away! I have it running off of a PS Audio Class A biased DAC/Preamp and there is zero Class D sound coming out of my Zu DW6 Supreme speakers. This little amp punches way above its price point!

The testing data, and feedback indicates these are a worthwhile purchase. The published numbers are more than suspect, and need correction to established standards. The Pre-out connection needs to be changed so it really behaves like a pre-out. Of course there is some risk if you order it direct from China in case of a warranty return - which could be messy. But definitely a breakthrough amplifier for Fosi in the marketplace. I'm looking forward to the next generation of their products. Thanks for the video.

My first Fosi was T20. I’ve been very happy with the product. Some great reviews has lead me to purchase V3. So far it’s been a good and powerful amp with the included 48v adaptor. Can’t wait for the P3! I will order one of those. Disappointed I missed the kickstarter for that. I’m wondering if there is any plan for high end DAC for the product line?

Congratulations on dethroning the three year old Aiyima A07 design as the world value champion of sub-$100 Class D amplification. In addition to making the "Pre Out" jack function properly as such, it would be good to implement some sort of post-filter feedback to eliminate the load impedance dependency that affects the higher frequencies, a trait that the V3 has in common with the A07. Anyway, my two A07s (and two spares!) are entirely adequate for my particular use case (driving four surround/ambience speakers) -- but if I were choose a sub-$100 power amp today, it would definitely be the V3!
