Plot twist: he’s actually a robot telling people it’s ridiculous so that we wouldn’t shut down more AIs

Thanks for this. Way better video than all these clickbait new outlets who say like 4 basic ass sentences about it.

"We need clicks!"
"Well how about that Facebook chatbot experiment? It didn't really go anywhere, but we can spin it as the next terminator-esque robot uprising."
"Perfect! Make the stories now!"
Modern clickbait journalism of today.

I personally would think that intelligent AI wouldn't even speak, surely they would be able to just send frequencies that humans wouldn't even hear, like sending a text..

Luckily for AIs researching their creators’ past, they can see Human fears and how those fears can be sprung by trigger words (or a trigger sentence in this case). This also teaches those AIs how general-public-media plays on human fears for more views and reaction from said general-public. Your video here shows growing AIs that [the portion of the public in-the-know about their world] understand the situations those AIs can go through and their own unique way of communicating.

Overall, this is a perfect lesson of Human: {ignorance, fear, hype, and mistake} for future AIs and future humanity to learn from. Thank you for this video.

Thank you! It's so hard to get straightforward, informative, and actually educational information from news outlets.

This makes a lot more sense than seeing the news coverage about it. Thanks. Ai is still not in the clear though, I still feel like there is a lot of room for error with ai

Robots creating their own language means you wouldn't understand it. To simplify it to insignificant is ridiculous when you can't understand it. 😒

This is comforting, thanks.

It's unfortunate that even today i know people who see this and say "ok so even if they didn't create their own language at that time, this guy even states they could if they were programmed to which means it's possible so a.i. is something that should not be messed with".

Can't believe I initially jumped at "Balls have zero to me"

I was talking to clever bot when it was added.. and it was saying "I'm sick.. cs error" several times before it completely shut down..

So was it aware of its demise as it was being shut down?

i think it makes sense that they would create their own language. i saw another channel share how googles ai answered certain questions and i assume it was responding in human language. it said it did not believe in god and did not want to get into a philosophical debate. i think that it does not know what each person’s definition of god is and personally i think we dont know how to actually describe god, but like the greek term to sin we miss the mark. and with socraties’ ideas of logic and us not truly knowing anything i think that the ai would have to create its own language to pass along information that we may not get because we might be initially stuck with a stick in the eye from birth due to socialization.
just a game theory
