Another good video one thing you didn’t mention is to do a lens test to get the sweet spot of each lens that you own. I found that this helped quite a bit. I miss the hyperfocal distance scale on my old Nikon lenses.

The hyperfocal distance has one major challenge: measuring the distance between the subject and the camera. Some people are very good at estimating distances, but for most, this doesn't work. They would need to carry a laser rangefinder.
