In '85, Russ released "I Love A Party"; his most accomplished album. I think its undisputed masterpiece is "Atmosphere". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of friends. It's also a personal statement about the man himself.

What an all round entertainer and a genuine lovely guy. I had the pleasure of seeing Russ alongside the late Bella Emberg in Blackpool in 1986 . I enjoyed his show but was pleased when he signed various items and let me have a photo taken with him . Thank you Russ .
