So far, as far as I know, I haven’t got it. I have several friends and family who have. They were all vaccinated and were okay. Still, rather not get it at all. Those not boosted twice are more likely to get it. The scary part is the reinfection rates are going up. I still wear masks indoors and avoid crowds. When nobody is caring any more, that’s a danger sign. It’s the re-infection after re-infection and you have to wonder how many times you can actually get this before serious damage occurs to your body. I, for one, don’t want to find out. We’ll find out about this time next summer I think. Most people will have gotten it or become carriers or have immunity. If the reinfecting continues through to next summer, well, that’s not good. Will wait further. In the meantime, labs are working on a vaccine for all variants. Probably be available in the fall. Hang in there folks.

I get scared whenever I see a fully boosted patient with severe covid (about 3 a year) I RUN and get my covid booster, because that crap is not good.

We need a sophisticated AI algorithm that can predict the top 10 most likely general types of viruses which are likely to start future pandemics. Then we need the pharmaceutical companies to start working on generic vaccines which would (hopefully) reduce the number of deaths while more specific vaccines are created for the actual viruses that come down the pipeline. That's something the powers-that-be could start working on now. AI programmers, scientists, and pharmaceutical companies need to work together on that.
