What if I am the only one who is currently living here in the United States (holds a working visa), but both my son and my husband are living abroad? In addition, all of us are non-US citizens. I am the only one who earns an income. Would I be eligible to have that child tax credit? If yes, would filing for an extension give me more time to get an SSN and eventually receive the child tax credit for him? Thanks!

Hello, I’ve been living overseas for 7 years and haven’t filed taxes, I have 3 kids under 17 Yrs and a wife and none of them have ssn
Do I qualify ?
