I got ended up to road somewhere far behind the home
I know, I'm on my own
My ride is full of load I´d tended farther north
Things haven`t worked out right at all

The last breath of the day a thousand miles on the way
it wasn`t a crooked trail

Just before the dawn I see the sign to Marble Falls
I´m on the road 281
Heading to the northeast just a passed the 18 wheels
on my way New Mexico
