This song inspired by a conversation between two kolehiyalas, one is talking about her love towards this certain guy and uttered - " i never knew what love is, until i met this guy " in typical kolehiyala accent . And the OPM legend singer-songwriter Odette Quesada was at the back seat listening, and she made a song from that conversation, and that was " Till i met you" - grand prize winner 1983 Metrop Music festival .
