Hey Michael, I’m a 3rd year Naturopathic Medical Student and I could not agree with you more strongly. We are trained for the exam, not to practice and think like a Physician. This has been the singular biggest disappointment to me about medical education.😔

At my school we can't pass the block without passing the exams. All the extra stuff must be done (or else you fail) but they don't affect your actual grade.

It’s not like this at all medical schools, the one i go to you need to pass all quizzes and exams or you fail the class. If you do well on the quizzes you could maybe still pass with a 65 or higher on the exams but you can’t just fail a midterm and final…
