2015 Audi S3 - WR TV POV Test Drive

This week we’ve got the keys to Audi’s latest small sports sedan. Coated in Sepang Blue paint and equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder motor that’s hooked to a six-speed dual clutch gearbox, the 3300 pound S3 is capable of getting from zero to sixty miles per hour in 4.9 seconds and boasts an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Naturally, the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system comes standard on the S3, as does a panoramic sunroof and leather seating. Our tester here is also fitted with the optional 19” Performance Package, which includes five double-spoke Star-design wheels, a set of summer tires, and Audi magnetic ride dampers.

Base MSRP for the 2015 Audi S3 is set at $41,400, while our tester clocks in at $46,645 with the aforementioned Performance Package, the optional Audi MMI Navigation Plus package, and destination charges.

Love the interior on this car, the outside looks are subtle, but the car sounds good overall. Seems like a fun daily driver!

Why are the roads like this? It's like they have putted blocks of concrete every few feet. You can hear "bang bang" all the time. It is frustrating.

I love how the S3 seems so at home despite you hammering it every other opportunity yet from what I can tell the roads are anything but optimal (I see puddles everywhere; big rainstorm before photoshoot?) yet the Audi never so much as squealed its tires.

The only negative factor of this car is that it doesn't have the 7th gear on the DSG, if you are cruisin' 130 on the highway the RPM's are already on 3000 that's a bit much.
