Salamun alaikum, i came here from reddit india. There is a talk about Khalid walid massacaring the Tribe of Banu jadhimah. Could u explain the concept of blood money . i can't really find how prophet didn't punish him. I am so troubled, he needs to be punished on his actions. I understand its a difficult topic. What i know from quranic_islam & other academics/progressive muslim is that there were many conflict & Political problem after Muhammad dead & abandoned of quran & making ali as the leader as he was only one that the Prophet told him e everything.

The sahaba were in transition and an educational period. When they were advised they obayed. And we are following their examples, they lived in the time of the best example and they were the best era.
The muslim has to work on himself and judge himself, we are nothing close to what they were.
