You know you have the makings to be a great player when you get booed before your first ever at bat like that.

Me now being 19 years old, I realize how absolutely insane it is to be 19 playing in the MLB

That throw home was perfect. Ramos has got to hold on to that.

Dang he’s only 28. It feels like he’s been in the MLB for forever

That first at bat was the first and last time Harper has ran the ball out when he didn't hit the ball well

Now look at him. A 2 time mvp and future hall of famer who just hit a two run home run down one to get his team to the World Series. Love the guy

I was at this game and it was by far the best I’ve ever been to. Harper’s first game, harpers first hit, a battle between billingsley and strasburg, fan ran on the field, extra innings, Kemp hits a walk off in 11

I miss this all hustle, high energy Bryce Harper. If he can regain this level of energy and passion, he'll then be able to finally live up to his "young phenom" calling name.

So funny seeing him with the rookie jitters and all of the sudden he’s a 9 year veteran

How the hell are you gonna boo a 19 year old in his major league debut, he hasn't done anything yet, plus he's a kid!!! Low class

I was there. Got the ticket stub still. It was an epic walk off for Kemp. Whole stadium shouted mvp as he rounded the bases. Never forget that feeling.

Insane bat speed. Some players have the ability to make to ball sound louder off the bat and Harper is one of them.

Just look at his hustle and drive back then

As a dodgers fan, I'm sickened by the majority of the fans there booing him that day.
