I'm the states I have seen something like that before, but the tracks are usually installed in the ceiling, and we hang lights from them

Thats pretty cool. Its like track lighting but for outlets. I wonder how well it holds up over time since receptacles are one of the higher impact part of the user interface.

I see similar in the states all the time for retail space. Basically track lighting, typically installed on the ceiling for lights.

Convenient for sure. As long as the electrical load on the parts don't outstrip the wires and fuses, all should be fine

It's called "EUBIQ", fist time invented about 10 years ago by a Singapore company.it's 100% safe, The midle hole line is protected against wire accidental or intended contact and only by inserting and rhen 30 deg. rotating the plugged in device, electrical contacts are made.

I wish we had those in the U.S. it would be super convenient in a kitchen. Especially if you have a large power plugs.

We use these things on Meeting Room tables, pretty convenient for that kind of use

It's a home based DIN rail for outlets. I like this concept but we don't really do this in the US. I would actually like something like this in my kitchen. It would allow for easier placement of small appliances while cooking.

I hope there's some sort of overload protection on it

Edit: Replies are saying the breaker at the distribution panel would be sufficient overload protection. Why does this scenario seem similar to daisy chaining power strips, which is generally considered an overload hazard where fire can start at the first power strip?

In North America we have this same system just used for lights not outlets

Open up an electrician shop in Bali. Swim in cash, and raise the standard.

We also used to have a similar track system in dado trunking used in offices here in the UK.

It feels somewhat overengineered to me. You can just wall mount a power strip and have basically the same thing.

Is there a fuse or internal breaker in the rail?
I like the idea of being able to have a number of devices plugged in but not on but in some homes people will try powering their entire life off of that single rail.

No way a kid is going to just stuff a piece of steel wool scrubby pad into that track and set the whole house on fire... No way that'd ever happen.

I think when you putting on a module you would have to turn off the switch and then turn it back on when it's secure
