BMW had an e-bike back in 2014! I was interning abroad at a company in Germany and the owner of the company got one lent to the company for a week so he could test and see if he wanted one. The thing was the nicest bike I've ever been on and could easily cruise at 20 mph with little effort from me.

Everyone complaining about the speed. The support for the E-Motor is limited to 15mph. Also the bike is fully made out of carbon and has a full suspension on front and read so 9k is not too bad. Carbon bikes are expensive as hell

Edit: There's also a Cross variant made for offroading. It's actually cheaper and it's black!
