Palmerston North Manawatu River flooded 15/2/23

was planing on going for a run along the river, was shocked to see this much flooding, Palmerston North has had very little rain compared to the far North, Whangarei Auckland Gisborne Hawks Bay, for the north of the North Island this was the worst flooding in the last 100 years, we here in Levin & Palmerston North have been let off very lightly, is this going to be a regular occurrence, like every few months now, what do you think, You tubers?

Wow. Incredible. A few years ago, a bridge near me actually collapsed after severe flooding. If there a danger this could happen here?

my son informed me as i showed him another manawatu drone footage of our river in flood, and called him in to say wtf but he said it was because apparently it all come down from the hawkes bay .
