Considering how iQoo used to be a gaming brand, seeing how it matures with great chipset, great triple cameras, great battery and charging and all for RM3399, it's probably better than buying flagship phones as of now. You do get everything that you need for less. Unless you need those specific features, this is the best value Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 device as of now.

Solid looking phone from iQOO. Too bad the brand isn’t popular enough. Otherwise more people would choose it as their choice of phone. Most ppl would buy mainstream brands even if the specs aren’t that good.

Iq has amazing build quality, I have dropped my iqoo7 legend a lot of times and except for the back glass rest everything is in flawless condition. I feel they need to focus on battery durability, I'm a heavy user and the battery life went for a toss after the 1 year or so and I had to change it. I also have my older phone realme x 2 pro and that is built to survive it's almost 3+ years old and still catches up with the 888 processor and battery is still running strong and never been repaired

I bought iqoo z7 5g recently. So far iqoo brand no complain only that sometimes not detect 5g and have to restart phone

Bruh these generational benchmark score leaps are crazy compare to the previous chipsets. SD 888 scoring 1M before and now this SD 8 gen 3 scores 2M already doubling the power. Compare to previous gens like SD 855, 860, 870 the gaps were close to antutu benchmark just ranging from 500K, 600k, 700K score only 100k difference but now its a million difference.

I put my 5g sim in a demo iqoo 12, so i could compare speed test results to my existing phone running qualcomm snapdragon 888 (2 generation old). To my surprise download speed was 2/3 my existing phone. Upload speed was 2x my existing phone.

Hearing that the 8 Gen 3 can last that long gaming on a midrange game (to mobile standard) without any heat complaints is a strong selling point. Also being able to force Genshin (without needing an iPhone) to 144hz is pretty sick. Any software OS stuff I should know?
