As Agile become mainstream increasingly organizations are looking to double down on the role of the Product Owner encouraging them to manage the intersection between technology and the business. But Product Ownership is a difficult role as it tries to balance the needs of the business with the reality of software delivery. Fascinating... 1 hour and I still have no idea what product owner is or what they do other than the nebulous adage of "maximize value".
But what I really dont understand is why or how any of this is relevant to me as a member of a 200+ team of a pharmacovigilance project. But alas my corporate overlords decided we are all going to be agile now, so here I am.
