Worthy! I came from/ grew up in a jungle the Philippines. I have seen and experienced the extremes of life growing up. I was malbourished, sickly and always struggled to get by and even have to chip-in for day-to-day expenses for the whole family as a young child. It was very tough growing up having to earn money to suppprt myself, my siblings and my parents. I always consider it to be a miracle how i have survived and how i escaped extreme poverty imaginable. But im always grateful. Looking back, i was actually thankful for the experiences and struggles which molded me to what i am today.
Thank you Alux for reminding me once again to stay grounded!

From where I came from, I learned that the direction of my life depends on my choices. I lived a privileged childhood compared to my peers. Yet, my parents were emotionally bankrupt and let their academic accomplishments define who they are. Many times, I could have chosen to remain under their thumb, wallow in victim mindset, or self delete. I chose differently and made myself useful to the world. Even in the darkest of times, a spark in me inspires me to be better and do better. #worthy

Remember where you came from. Powerful words. Lately, I been thinking about my hometown and thinking about paying the place a visit. I'm from a small town that's rich in history and that's about it. I moved and left my friends and everything I know behind. I feel lonely where I'm at now but I'm a lot more successful in life because I left. I miss the place I called home for a majority of my life but I had to do what I had to do to get to where I am today but I never forget where I came from. Thanks Alux for another awesome video!

LISTEN: I always knew that part of the natural progression of expansion for the Alux Brand is to eventually link up in comaraderie with a goal of growing together; however, I had no intention to do all that with now.

Or, reset everything, start from scratch, rebuild myself, mind and body. To become the best "Me". I've moved mountains, some of them moved themselves. They are the people who teach and inspire others to be grounded and find inner peace, they spread the wisdom and philosophy of Buddha to help others people who struggle, they are the most selfless people, not selfish. I grew up seeing my grandma working everyday because life was tough. She worked until, the very day she became sick and soon after died.
So I promised my self I do not want that life for my self.

I moved from Tehran to Los Angeles in 2004 some 18 years ago when I was 50 years old with my wife and two sons of 17 & 11. I am going through some health problems right now and today was one of the worst days as my body did not like what I ate yesterday. But this video reminded me I’ve overcame so many illnesses and injuries in my life. I am one of those individuals out there going through a tough time instead of a good time. So I want to remind the individuals going through a good time to enjoy and not take it for granted. As for the individuals going through tough times, we got this! We experienced a flat tire in our lives right now but we will recover and be back on track soon because everything is only temporary :)
