Pilot speaking here. Those crashes were pilot error. There is a system on all planes called TCAS. TCAS warns the pilot of a collision. Pilots just didnt listen to their warning

the reason it seems there are crashes every week is because the media are picking up on it more, trust me, if they reported every fatal car accident everyone would be scared

There has been only *one* fatal commercial aviation crash this year. The rest were all in the private sector, and that’s still less than 200 total. 3380 people died in car crashes this January. Calm down people. The news has only just started caring about *every* private aviation crash, as if they don’t happen every other day.

The fact I just got back from a trip and flew there and back shakes me to the core. I’m so grateful nothing happened to me and my family but I’m hoping everyone stays safe and that anyone who was harmed or killed in these planes family is recovering from this.

Just to make it clear the Delta plane crash was just because of weather because Toronto is having a major snowstorm and they’re not used to how much snow they’re getting unlike people that are farther up north also the plane was not forced to crash land. It just skied like a car during landing because the runway wasn’t properly iced. Also, all the people that went to the hospital with injuries are all OK and nobody died from the crash.
