When days are dark, I come back here and watch my man Rafa win from 2 sets down. 18 years and my love for his game only grows bigger.

To think the man was in crutches only a few months ago, and here he is defeating the 25 year old world number 2, coming back from 2 sets down. What a champion.

I'm 41 years old, I've followed all of Rafa's career, and I cried when he won this match 3 months ago. And I just finished rewatching it here and at the final I cried again. Thank you Rafael Nadal for offering me those many many emotional moments all along your career ! Legend !

I just can't stop coming back and watching. Twenty-one grand slam titles, coming back from two sets down after that injury and at this age. The Great.

I cried.

Not because it's his 21st, not because he has one more title to show off, not because his haters are now mad...i cried because i know that the time will come where he won't be there anymore to inspire me with HIS tennis...

To me, you will always be the greatest Rafa!

2:38:00 Man is 0-40 down on his own serve and already 2 sets down, coming back from there is what makes this match so legendary!

The most impressive comeback i've ever seen. Rafa at 35 years of age up against basically the best hardcourt player in the world in Medvedev. Down two sets to love and triple break point in the third? C'mon man. Instant classic. I dont know how rafa did that. I really don't.

At almost 36 years of age, after going down 2 sets and 2-3(0-40) in a grandslam final against the best hard court player on the tour & the most recent slam winner, this guy who was on crutches 6 months back due to a foot injury and was tested covid positive a month back, has turned it around in the same tournament where he lost 4 finals previously. This should be the biggest fairytale comeback ever in the sports history.

I still come back and watch this match every now and then. One of the best finals I've ever witnessed.

The greatest comeback of all time, some may argue Djokovic against Fed, but this trumps it for me considering even 1 month ago no one expected him to even get to the quarters again. At 2-6 6-7 2-3 0-40, no doubt only one person thought Rafa still had a chance to win, Rafa himself.

This has to be the sweetest and most fulfilling win thus far for Nadal. He is the epitome of a sportsman, a modern warrior, and a fine human being. You gotta love this guy. I have no excuse to complain and not working hard.

An incredible match, one of the most inspiring I've ever seen.

Honestly it was too painful to watch the 1st couple of sets live and I'd turned off the TV. But then a friend msged and to turn it back on at 12.30am. They were in the 5th set! From then it was so nail biting and exciting. We were just saying one more point Rafa! And then he won! I was crying and screaming. Will never forget this moment for Rafa! One of the best and inspiring sportsman in the world for me.

The best comeback I’ve ever witnessed. So well deserved Rafa after the heartbreak of 2012, 2014 and 2017.

This match started around 4:00 am in Eastern US, I watched the first 2 sets and saw that Nadal was losing. I turned off the TV and went back to bed. I woke up at 9:00 am and saw the end of the 5th set where Rafa ended up winning. I could not believe Rafa won. Thanks for uploading the full match, so I can see sets 3 and 4 that I missed.

This match....this match is so complex on so many levels. It is hard to make a resume, but this is the one match where there are more than a couple things that stand out. From Rafa's tactical genius to change the whole game plan, to his ability to hang in there in the toughest moments (and there is nothing tougher than being 2 sets down and 3 break points down), to his will to guide his mind into fighting his body (an almost 36 year old to physically outlast a 26 year old), all these aspects make Rafa's performance even more special, and they serve as a testimony of sporting greatness, similar to other GOAT's in other sports. It is a match to always remember, and a Hall of Fame moment. i feel blessed to have witnessed history!
