this is so funny, i love how the observatory is so casual. you've got your little coffee maker and vending machine for some snacks, meanwhile there's an enormous deadly predator screaming in your ear and clipping through everything. 😭😭😭

I've played the game 3 times (normal, adventure, and hardcore) and never once built a base in close enough proximity to ever hear a Reaper from the inside. God, its roar from inside a base sounds absolutely wicked.
