Today we are going to show you how to make Julia Child’s Coq Au Vin. The recipe is from her cookbook “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” page 263. This recipe serves 4-6 people. We changed the order of how she cooked it for efficiency purposes. She cooked the chicken first, followed by the onions which takes longer to cook. This is our first time making it and we will definitely make this dish again. It’s super delicious, the chicken is tender and melts in your mouth without it falling apart. The gravy is very rich and flavorful. You can use any red wine, we went with what we have in our house which was the Cotes Du Rhone. We hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we loved making it.
