I love the woman being described in this song. Dangerous yet merciful. A woman who's been hurt and got over it, and became a lioness yet she sought no revenge. Could totally relate to that, when people wrong you and you're eventually in a position to cut them down to size but you hold no ill feelings or desire to hurt them. However unlike the guy in this song, most people wouldn't humble themselves and appreciate the mercy given to them.

Chris sang this song live in his concert and before he started playing, he said "this is for all the badass women here tonight" and really made my confidence fly for some reason! Thank you Daughtry for always making songs that resonate with everyone ❤
