I´m not the one who normally talks about graphics, but for now i`ll do it.

1987, Dungeon Master were released and i was astonished about the great atmosphere and the graphic. It was the first time i saw something like that. Only 8 years later the graphics reached a new level and nothing was the same anymore from this time.

17 years later, the graphics are great, but compared to the steps that were made in the beginning of the computer era is this just like a small step from a dwarf...

I can't tell exactly, but if it's going to be anything like the first Risen, then it will be an open-world, "do what you like, if you can" game. As for the rest, it's a singleplayer 3rd person RPG.

...in those days, games were made from players for players. Now, games are primary made for money and this is why the graphically improvements are slowly ongoing.

I said 14 years ago to myself: "On the day when 3D graphics are this good when no pixels can be seen and hair is animated realistic, then i`ll be fire and flame for games with 3D graphics." Now i`m old and even in the best graphically games i cannot see any real improvements, ...

Looks pretty good to me, graphics aren't bad, story might be alright, never played the first Risen, I think it was only on xbox or something, maybe I just missed it. This looks cool though, I love me some RPG goodness.
