The adjustment screws are so you can use it on unlevel ground. You can adjust it to be level on a slight incline.

Know this video is old, but watching this and reading comments that were actually informative helped me balance my 37x13.50x17 TOYO MTs (beadlocks wheels) Information such as grease the pin (I used bearing grease) and also used a level to verify the device was truly balanced before I placed the tire on. Once verify placed the tires on and within a couple minutes each tires was balanced according to the bubble and level. I used glue on weights and stacked them accordingly. I’ll ensure they are balance after I finish my Jeep lift.

Thanks for the video and to those who actually put informative comments.

I just bought one and used it today. It worked well right out of the box. No adjustments needed.

AWESOME SHARE .. The reason they don't set it up level is because every floor you set it up on will be different in level .. Great tool share ! Thumbs up man..

Thank you for the video. I especially appreciate the price you paid and the date…that helps put it in perspective.

This tool and a hand powered tire mounting machine will cost you less than a mechanic would charge to do it for you

The adjustment screws are needed because there is no way to predict the level of the ground you'll be working on.

Not everyone’s floors are perfectly level, hence the bubble level

The adjustment screws are important because some garages may not be perfectly level themselves.

Not talking about mechanics, but home garages and driveways and such.

If we swing the wheel on this balancer it settle in 2-3 seconds the chance is high that the pin receiver hole is too deep. Because the pin’s cone body is rubbing the receiver barrel at the nozzle. The design was intended to have the hole ceiling resting on cone pin tip. That was discovered by a YouTube channel.

A good manufactured sample can let tire swing for ten seconds at 1-2 inch swing.

Do you just eyeball that the wheel is centered on the ring?

Should you put a weight on each side of the rim? Or is it ok to just weight one side??

I have no sound but can you balance 16 inch SUV tires and 18 in car tires?

Correct me if I'm wrong but... Aren't you suppossed to take off the retainers at the bottom of the balancing cone that has the springed rods so that the flange set moves up and down depending on the weight of the wheel?

My guess is those three screws are to fine tune a possible off level surface that the machine is sitting on. But helpful video just wondering how it compares to an actual tire balancing machine
