NFR Time Lapse - UNLV Hoops to Rodeo

As we prepare for the final performances of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, we look back at the preparation of the Thomas & Mack Center. This timelapse shows the full transition of the arena starting with the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels game on Saturday, November 26 through the first performance of the Wrangler NFR on Thursday, December 1.

More than 2,000 tons of dirt are used in the arena and the stalls outside. The dirt is 12-15” thick.
