How to change a gearbox on a London Transport Routemaster bus--Pt5

Something a bit different now, a 'how to' type vid. Part 5 in a series of 9 vids we will see how to change a gearbox on a London Routemaster bus. Unlike London Transport who had Aldenham Works with its body lift crane or a well equiped bus garage, this was done on a flat surface with the gearbox coming out upwards into the saloon! The joys of preservation is not just the driving around in an historic vehicle, it's the general upkeep and major engineering jobs that crop up and have to be dealt with. So grab a cuppa, sit back and let two daft buggers show you the (not so) hard way to do things.........The replacement gearbox had been refurbished by a small, independant repairer to a very high standard, whose details are below. If you liked the video please subscribe to my channel, there are lots more transport & quirky vids to upload!

How does the gearbox Connect to the engine? Do you have to separate it from the fluid flywheel if it has one and do you have leavers from the gear selector / actuator pedal? Is it a Wilson gearbox? Or self change semi- auto??? cheers!!
