Organizations want an easy way to remotely assist vendors and customers via a mixed-reality video call. For example, a technician may want to remotely assist a vendor field engineer to resolve an issue. Or, a customer support agent may want to remotely assist a customer to repair an asset.

Previously, only vendors and customers with Remote Assist licenses in the correct tenant could use Remote Assist mobile. Now, vendors and customers can do so with a one-time call link. This simplifies the deployment process required for organizations to provide support via a Remote Assist call.

In this demo, a customer support agent shares a one-time call link via Dynamics 365 Omnichannel. However, the one-time link creator is not limited to sharing the link via Omnichannel; after creating the link using the Remote Assist web app, they can share it with their collaborator using any method.
