It all depends in how long is your runway. Varies much by individual

Jebus! I’m in Canada and could only dream of my mortgage interest being a tax deduction as a simple salaried single individual. However I did recently take out a Manulife One account to leverage my equity and aggressively pay off my mortgage balance. Having access to my home equity isn’t something I’d abuse. Truck loan will stay with Ford credit as it will be paid for in 3.75yrs at 0.99 interest. No other debt otherwise.

I am curious.... Since the interest on your home is front loaded isn't there an advantage to focusing early on it?

Thanks for the video! I would like a topic on how to invest in the snp500 index itself, I've tried looking but it seems to just be a measurement of the top 500 companies and not something you can actually invest in. It seems you can only invest in individual companies within the snp500 rank, but not blindly into the basket itself, or maybe this is something only Americans can do?

90% of this video is how to fill out a spreadsheet.
