I love hand sewing I have made a full outfit by hand sewing and enjoyed it so much. When you mention it is hand sown people are amazed and want to inspect your work. It’s quite funny.

Your back stitch trick to make back stitching faster while seemingly intuitive and apparent was a total Revelation to me thank you for including that I believe it probably just cut my time back stitching in half

Thank you!! I was so upset that my relatively new, very expensive heated jacket got a rip in one of the seams after my recent travels. I was able to stitch it together like new thanks to this tutorial! 🙏🏻❤

I've moved into hand sewing from doing embroidery, and your catch stitch is basically a herringbone stitch but used across two parts of the fabric! Really interesting to see. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for this - and great timing - I just made a men's Renaissance style shirt and needed to hand stitch the collar on the inside (to finish) and wasn't sure which hand stitch would work well. You solved the mystery! ;D

Thank you! I’m going to try fixing the hem on a favorite pair of shorts with the blind hem without getting the machine out.

Thank you for a wonderful totally understandable tutorial. I'm new to sewing as I am not as mobile as I was due to a car accident. There's something about sewing that soothes and excites. Looking forward to viewing more.
