Let’s not forget the sink has to be wet before applying comet and it also has to sit 15 min in order for it to disinfect the sink. Definitely didn’t need that much of product. A little goes along way with comet.

She also could use a tablespoon of baking soda with the lemon half after juicing it. I use the lemon instead of sponge when it's possible. Really cleans glass shower doors!

For the record, your dish soap is typically concentrated so save the one you finished and when opening the new in, add 1/4 of it into the old bottle then fill the rest with warm water and give it a few shakes. You have a full bottle with 3/4 of a full one left to do that again with three more times.

Melissa is right. You don't need lots of dish soap or lots of Comet or Bicarb or whatever else you use to clean the sink. A little amount is fine. And you need to leave the product to work!

I also don't understand using a scrub product with a scrub tool. Especially on a clean sink. A quarter teaspoon of baking soda if the sink was stained, applied with a cloth. Otherwise, wash it like a dish, with a drop of soap and a cloth.

Very dirty sink? Easy off oven cleaner. Make sure you protect wood around or counter that is kind of delicate. It comes shining as brand new again.

Has she not yet discovered the magic of Dawn Powerwash? That's all I use on the kitchen sink. I do use a garbage disposal cleaner every so often, but most of the time dawn and a sponge are all I need. To even consider needing that much product...what on earth was in her sink???
