I used to own a 35KSR (no paper tape reader) which I used with my home built RCA1802 microcomputer. They built like a tank! Once my basement flooded and it got submerged. Dried it out and it started up and ran as if nothing happened!

It seems it has a slight chatter problem, you may wanna get it to the nearest teletype shop, maybe the warranty is still valid
