Saw her in Nashville tonight 8/29/2024. She is older and her voice is not as great, but she is still awesome. A privilege to see her and I hope she keeps performing.

We were friends in 80 when she lived in the east village for a year or so. I stayed for 3 sets one night and became friends and neighbors. I played some harp and drums but never near her league. She had a tune called "Ramone", which was great but got dropped I guess.
We caught up a few times years later at NY and NJ gigs and on the bus hang outs later.
Marriage I think has been good for her. Fondly, Michael K
