I USED/saw this ring in 1966. I worked for ACME Paper box. As the boxes came off the assembly line and were piled at the end of the line ..I/We used this ring to cut the twine that we used to tie the boxes

Great idea, but....when I go fishing I typically don't look to cut the line. Instead I want to get the lure out of the mouth. Not sure who wants to repeatedly cut the line every time they catch a fish, and you surely don't want to release with a lure in their mouth. Maybe I am missing the application here.

When people say they gave up a great career for this company, in spite of having a family? 1st, I'd say 'I'm out', that's irresponsible dude. (or was he lying about the job?) 2nd, I'd say to him: ya know, you could hire someone to run the company while you have a secure job for your family, the best of both worlds. Can't any of these people think of that??
