my mom came to stay with me for a month. I'm a uni student living alone, so her being here was really nice and fun, and I had someone to talk to. Just returned from dropping her off at the airport, and I open my PC and find this video. Feels! Had to drive in a car alone on the way back.

Gentlemen, Times are rough, times are tiring, things happen on top of each other and everything is so, damn, tiring. Breathing becomes laborious and relationships dwindle and swindle themselves into a plateau of normalcy. Money becomes a number, time spent with family becomes unmemorable, time spent alone feels like a victory, time spent tired, weirdly enough, feels like a victory. That vicious feeling of wanting to be more tired is somehow something we actually desire, this struggle to push ourselves and telling ourselves we don't actually deserve peace. At least that's what it's like for me, it's almost like survivors guilt for being happy (?), if that makes any sense at all. What humbles me is seeing people make the most of their time here, and never forgetting to live. Never forgetting to live and look around your every day. Time only moves forward, the double edged sword that is time.
