How to Disable download option on shared files in Google Drive

Disable Download Settings in Google Drive
1. Locate the file in the Google Drive that you want to work with.
-Click the file once to highlight it in blue.
-Click the Share icon.
2. Click Advanced to open the sharing settings.
3. To limit the sharing settings so that only certain individuals can view only:
-Invite people to view the file by entering the names/email address of those you want to share the file with.
-Be sure to check the box to Disable options to download, print, and copy for commenters and viewers.

Additional information
1.The disable to download option only apply for individual file. Not whole folder.
But you can open the folder, select all file. Then choose option to disable download.

2. If you set all the files in the folder only for view. Then, when you share the folder to anyone, It only can view only. People can't download the file that you set not allow to download. It still able to download the whole folder but without the specific file that you set no allow to download.

If you change all the files in a folder so they can't be downloaded - If you send access to the folder, will all the files keep the settings so the viewer can't download the individual files in that folder ? This way I can send a link to a folder without having to send individual files. TY
