Yes my car needs this upgrade! I have the 17" chrome rims. U need to corner balance the car anytime u install coil overs. It's way more involved then just a tape measure on the wheel well openings for setting the car up.

I’m pretty sure the way the rears are mounted, you have to remove the rear shock to adjust the dampening. Quick job, but more of a pain in the ass if you’re wanting to swap from street to track settings.

I'm installing some coilovers too, learning as I go. Something off the bat I didn't realize, be sure to check the bump stops are set properly (shock lengths, not spring preload), you remove the spring and then jack your tire up until it hits the bump stops, adjust from there to set tire clearance to the body.

That kit's nice looking! Can't wait to see the stance. If you're planing on going for auto cross I'd suggest to have the back a bit lower than the front, bit more camber in the front (not too much), wider tires up front, little bit open toe and wheel spacers. All that def helps you preventing understeer and should make the Cruze handle like on tracks, especially with the LSD. Learned that from ADAC slalom which is the German equivalent to autocross.

Yes camber not caster.
No the texture is cnc machined I'm sure.
Zzp has a ton of stuff for all kinds of model s.
Once you get those installed I would start stock to test them out and seat them.
You should look at the strut tower brace from ultra racing they have a bunch of stuff to stiffen the ride.
On my 14 1.4t I have strut tower brace & a lower rear brace and it made the car tight. I got mine used but it's a tight in the corners on off ramps and on ramps. I was running 235 55 16 onmy cruze at one point and 1 inch of width on every corner is huge and a stiff side wall to boot.
Now I have all seasons on it an it's not the same ride sadly. But hey my daughter drives it now so she can take care of it. Lol.

Lower the car see how it looks and it may be what u like. Make sure rear end has good clearance that it dont scrape.
