How I create a Comic Dub Video:
1 - I choose a twitter comics that I think my audience will like the most and is suitable for audio dubbing. Fav authors: shadbase, shadman, theshadling, semidraws, hermit moth.
2 - I prepare the script and the text that the characters are going to say in the video. This is an adaptation of the original text. Sometimes I also add my own lines.
3 - Choosing the voices that best suit the characters.
4 - Dividing the comic into scenes. I do this in Photoshop.
5 - Editing all the components into a cohesive video: video animation, transitions, voice, sound effects, background music, ending screen saver. I do this in Final Cut.
6 - Checking and correcting. I watch the finished video and if I find any mistakes, I rework the video.
7 - Publishing the web cartoon video on YouTube.

I can't believe it but I actually did an analysis of a brain-rot video. I hope this can be useful to anyone who wants to identify when they're being exploited.

So in some sense I'm glad I watched this. It was morbid curiously but I almost clicked off but I couldn't help but admire how effective of a brain-rot video this video was. Like, the dub is terrible because it's AI and the story itself that's being dubbed doesn't even have a good payoff. However, I could tell there was something about the video itself that made it harder to click off.

The creator used everything in their power to keep the novelty addicted brain's attention, the ever moving butts in the background serve as background movement to keep the brain engaged, the music of course but something is always happening. The random finger scroll in the middle was again another novelty that the brain didn't expect, something new to keep the brain engaged. They even blurred out part of the text on a panel to control the drip of information and add another thing for your brain to be engaged with, "What's about to be revealed?". Your brain can't help but want the answer to the question of what's behind those blurred out words. The video doesn't have to be good, it just needs to appeal to your brain's need for novelty and constant stimulation. Everything is done in this video is a way to keep your attention. I wouldn't be surprised if the woman at the end showing her body but not her entire face was intentional. Leveraging the fact that she's a woman will appeal to the male simp brain, not to mention the actual subject matter of the comic appeals to men's visual lust. This entire video was constructed with intention to keep you engaged as long as possible not by giving you quality content but purely by exploiting the chemistry of the male brain. This kind of video is worthless and your time is more valuable than this. Resist this kind of exploitation. Godspeed.
