1970s Sterling Light 31 Light 3-Way Flashing Santa Christmas Tree Topper Made in Taiwan VIDEO TWO

Working much better now, and unlike the previous video, it's not all washed out in the wrong light. You can see it now. Elton John in the background. I moved bulbs around and figured out that some all clear ones were flashers(?) and made it flash the way it's supposed to. A new red tipped 12 volt flasher does work in it but I don't need it right now. I snapped a ring off the back. Put it back. It flashes three ways now. It did before but one section stopped and another one only wanted to flash on every 30 seconds or so. Boring. Still no power to the bulb in the head and I can't see why. So it's technically 30 lights, 3-way flashing. Is there any hard wiring of flashing functions or do these typically run on all flasher bulbs? Do I have it all wrong?
