I usually fish the Ruby below the dam. Your dad had bear spray with him. I was unaware that bears were an issue where you fished, but I'm not from Montana ( Colorado ). There are rattle snakes to be aware of. I'm going back there in the Summer ( 2023 ) to hunt for large browns.
